+460 If mother nature was around long before father time, then doesnt that make mother nature a cougar? amirite?

Nothing was around before time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no because time isnt real, its just a man made invention used to keep track of events.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but time isnt real. Its just a measurement, we use it to keep track of things. We use it to mark the beginning of us, and before us. Before people there was no time, just the process of the days and nights.

Yes, that's like saying "temperature didn't exist until we created degrees"... I'm sure you see the fallacy in that, yes?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes i see your point, but everything alive was aware of tempature, when nothing was aware of time before us.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then was nothing aware of the procession of days and nights which you mentioned before?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, so it's awareness of a thing that makes it real... so gravity would be a better example, then? Like, gravity didn't exist before we had a word for it? People/animals were aware, in a way, that they didn't just fly out into space, but that there was a reason or force behind it they had no idea.

i guess that is true, but i still like the humor behind my original statment.

You can't age without time, silly goose.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, I had completely forgotten about this silly post.

A cougar is part of nature, so wouldn't she kind of be a cougar anyway?

by Anonymous 13 years ago
