+620 Where do whales go when they die? Are there just whales lying all over the bottom of the ocean? Amirite?

Has anyone ever heard of the circle of life? There are sharks, for one. And plenty more vicious creatures that would love a meal. Then once it decomps there is nutrients and whatnot. Micro organisms feast. Yum.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah but still, do you realize how big a whale is? It would take longggggg time for it to decompose

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the ocean is pretty big and deep to

Do you realize how faster things decomp in water? And the fact that there's more scavengers in the sea than people even know about? Yeah, there's not any whales laying at the bottom of the ocean. Aaaand they float when they die, not sink.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh sorry mr. Marine biologist, have you seen any floating whales?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, watch the news. They float up on beaches. And I'm not talking about a whale that's alive, beaches itself, then dies. Already dead ones get washed up. Whales live a long ass time too. So its not like there'd just be hella floating all over. &&&& I have a vajay.

You asked a question, she gave an answer. Why are you being a douche about it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They wash up on beaches so people can blow them up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

HAHA. exactly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

idiot. do you ever watch the news? they swim up to the beach and then die on land.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Something's wrong with this post. You can't ask a question and then write "amirite?" after it, to see if people agree. To "amirite" you have to make a statement first.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If their to far out in the ocean to wash up, they sink, decompose and are eaten by deep-sea detritis eaters which eat dead matter, bassically the scavengers of the ocean

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thankyou for a legitimate answer... I'm talking to Amsk and the anonymous before him :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My answer was legit.
