CD's will all ways be better than downloaded music quality is horrible, amirite?

hell i have an aux hookup in my car and I never use it. I still pretty much only listen to cd's unless i'm listening to my iPod

If the quality of the music you're downloading isn't as good as your cds, either you or the person you're downloading from doesn't know wtf they're doing. If you're getting it legally, then it's definitely you. Do you know what a bit rate is? Do you know what the difference is between mp3, mp4, wma, and the myriad of other formats? Check the settings in the program you use to download. Warning: raising the bitrate will increase the amount of space your music files take up, and not all formats work with all digital music players. You should learn what you're doing.
