The reason why most people exersice is because it's really boring, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
That doesn't even make sense.

Yeah, I realized a few days ago that I missed a word. I wish I could delete this fail post

Report it. A mod will take care of it.

You accidentally a word

If you meant that's why they don't exercise, I'd still disagree. How can exercising be boring? Sports can be fun, and after a workout you feel great. People are probably just lazy, and this is probably just another excuse not to exercise.

It depends what kind of excercises. Sure, playing sports is fun, but when you're exercising or working out by yourself it can get really boring. Personally, I get really impatient while jogging. Even when I'm listening to music it feels like it's playing too slow. A lack of progress with gaining muscle can probably get rid of some of that enthusiasm too.

The trick is to not have a route. If you just jog aimlessly and not care if you get lost or not (You could probably find a subway or a cab) you will have a lot of fun. THis says a lot, coming from a fat person who managed well over five hours of exercise without getting bored or feeling the need to go home.

Haha, a subway or cab. If I was lucky enough to go for a jog without getting hit (no sidewalks and shrubbery tends to overtake the sides), I'd probably have to hitchhike home. That's pretty much why I don't run much, I get sick of running circles around my yard.

Buy an xbox with kinect sensor. It like the wii, but more awesome. Also it doesn't require more controllers for more people, and you don't need all sorts of peripherals. If a game feels weird, get a stick to use as a sword/wand/gun/skiing pole. The 3 best games are powerup heroes, kinect sports (original, not 2012) and kinect adventures
