''Age is just a number''. It's quite clearly a word, amirite?

Age, being how old you are(in years) Is a number. For example, I am X years old. X being my age, and a number. Depends on how you interpret the saying.

I cannot possibly thank you enough for clearing that up for me, asshole.

No problem, bitch.

the saying is "age is but a number" by the way,
but it's still not "'age' is but a number", so it does not refer to the word "age", it refers to age itself.

Dear everyone,
It can be said both way "Age is but a number" or "Age is just a number" It doesn't really matter. It's a joke. Don't care so much =) I'm sure someone's made a typo on another post, and I'd hate for you to miss that comment war.
