I hate posts that say things like "we girls..." It's so stereotypical. Something like this has nothing to do with gender, so why not just say "you eat when you're bored" or something?

What, only girls eat when we're bored? I'm pretty sure guys are capable of eating when they're bored, too. But, then again, that's just a theory.

I think the OP limits it to girls because we guys eat regardless of whether we're bored or even hungry for that matter.

I eat when I'm hungry, happy, sad, lonely, bored, in love, at school, at home, at a friend's place, walking from my house to my friend's house, before, after (and sometimes during) soccer practice, I eat between eats, I eat when I'm thinking, working and chilling, if there's food: I eat it. And I'm not even overweight.

If he's a teenager or preteen, then he'll hit a growth spurt sooner or later. People don't eat like that unless their bodies need it, otherwise they would get sick.
