The one part of a movie that scarred me as a child was that one scene in the Lord of the Rings, when Frodo gets to Rivendell and meets Bilbo again and the the Ring is visible for a second, and Bilbo gets this demon-like appearance and is all like, 'GAHHHHH!' And Frodo's like, 'WHAT THE FU-' And Bilbo's like, 'Oh...sorry, dear boy.' Yeah. That part. I always had to cover my eyes.

I used to be terrified of Scary Movie 3 because I didn't get that it was supposed to be a comedy...

When it first came out (around fifth grade for me), I used to be so scared of Just Like Heaven. Yeah, that romantic comedy with Reese Witherspoon... The summary is "A lonely landscape architect (Ruffalo) falls for the spirit of beautiful woman (Witherspoon) who used to live in his new apartment." It sounds innocent but man, Witherspoon's character popped out of nowhere unexpectedly all the time, and I was so scared to walk around my house after that.

Any movie with/related to/including and type of clown I still can't watch.

'It'. Anyone remember that one? Jesus christ! And 'Are you afraid of the dark'. Only that was a TV show. The graphics are what scare me.
