+331 In Greenday's album American Idiot, it's awesome how the songs fade into each other if you listen to them in order... amirite?

Pink Floyd does that. Including, on at least the older albums, the ability to play the whole album over and over and have the end fade with the beginning. Check them out! They're only the greatest musical group that ever lived.

wow, thats old, i don't know that many people that actualy listened to it lol...then again i geuss im in the wrong generation

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol well i still love it :)! and i love when albums do that

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not to burst your amirite bubble, but many albums do that (ie. Blink 182's Enema of the State).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So does Coldplay (Viva La Vida album), Muse and Goo-Goo Dolls.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Except Blink 182 sucks ass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They did that in Dookie too, for Chump and Longview.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they did that for 12st Century Breakdown too.

The reason it fades is because it's a rock opera, it's supposed to be one big song that is split into smaller ones that can be listened to on their own. If you listen to the whole album it tells a story.

Get ready to be pissed: Green Day*

Gahh you beat me to it D: And yes they do that on most of their albums...They have it on Dookie,21st Century Breakdown and I think Warning...

No its like their legitimate name. its based on international pot day (:P) and is two separate words. i have a *minor* pet peeve about this

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was just about to do this. Haha. I’m usually not that strict about other people misspelling things, but when it comes to band names, I’m a nazi.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even though it doesn't really tell one story, Abbey Road has an epic medley of different songs. If you haven't, you should check it out. :D
