Burning any religion's holy text is wrong, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
I'd be afraid to do it for fear that that is actually the true religion.

Why? Its just paper with words.

It means so much more than that.

I think it's sacrilegious to burn any book. Books are *the* masterpiece of humanity. They are our legacy. They contain everything we have uncovered about the universe and ourselves. Thus, all books are sacred.

If I started a religion for which coal was a holy relic would you stop burning it?
by Anonymous11 years ago
That's not an accurate comparison. In Hinduism, cows are sacred. People still kill and eat them though.
There's no reason to burn a religious text other than to be an ass.

I honestly think it's wrong to burn any book.

I completely agree, unless you're burning them onto CDs.
