by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I was little too but I still remember it really vividly!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I actually think I didn't see it.... My mom said that I was with my grandmother and she didn't want to turn on the TV in fear of scaring me

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're only 12? You're not old enough to be on this site.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so i've been told.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No really. You aren't allowed to be here unless you're 13. I should report you to the cyber police.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then your going to have a lot of people to report, theres tons of 12 year olds on here

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well you just tell me their names and I'll file a report to the cyber police right now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no way dude their my friends. if you seriously want to, go do it yourself. just wondering how old are you?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just a little joke. I'm not going to file a report to the imaginary cyber police. We don't care how old you are. We just don't like the pre-teen mentality to take over the site.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was 5. :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in 2nd grade classroom learning when an announcement came on to have the teachers turn on the tv. They did and we all watched the images of the first tower in flames. As they were talking the second plane crashed into the second one. Then we got out if school and I was freaking out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same here.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was sleeeeing then got up to watch cheese tv and there was news on for the whole time :/ coz I was little I was upset cartoons werent on! Didn't really understand how bad it was tho

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was at school. I don't remember any of this, but my mom's told stories. She said she was really scared because people thought it was the end of the world, and she was wondering whether or not to come bring us home from school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fourth grade. They refused to say anything about it during school hours because we were close to NYC and they were afraid that some kids might have had parents who worked there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can't remember what I was doing that day. I just remember learning about it the next day because I was 7.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was at school. Our teacher told us and talked about it a little bit, but I don't think any of us (even her) understood the magnitude of the situation.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it was my first day of preschool when it happened, don't remember hearing anything of it until like, a few years later.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

First grade. I don't think we went home early but I remember all the teachers telling us to stay in the classrooms and they went into the hallway and were discussing "something" in hushed tones. My mom wouldn't let me watch TV with her when I got home (now I know it was to keep me from getting scared). The next day I remember them telling us that the Twin Towers (whatever those were, I didn't know) were attacked and we all went out to the parking lot and let gold ballons go into the sky. I didn't really get it until I was old enough to watch those videos they show every year. When I did understand, I thought the towers were downtown from where I live (they're not, obviously) and I got really freaked out. But now, of course, I understand everything...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in fourth grade and the principal made an announcement that the towers we attacked and then we watched the news on tv the rest of the day. I don't think anyone really understood what was going to happen, it was sad :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I feel kind of bad that I really didn't care too much at the time. I knew I was 'kina bad' that towers were crashed into, but I don't think I understood the depth of the emotional toll it took on the adults who knew what was happening. Or that a lot of people died. To me the planes were just empty planes (I was really little). I still feel bad about all this misunderstanding though...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well it's hard to understand the whole meaning of the situation at a young age. It's only bad if you know, and don't care.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I guess you're right.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the majority of us were prob 6-7 years old or so. all i remember was that i watched it on tv and thought it was a new action movie or something...haha...then i realized that it was on the news....then i just got hungry and forgot it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was only 1.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You shouldn't be on this site then.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

6 years old D:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in 1st grade- 6 yrs old. During school, I was blissfully ignorant. I went to school, but we were on lockdown. I was less than 100mi from the city. Kids couldn't get picked up [my school only has 2 grades- kindergarten and 1st] I went on the bus, got home, and I knew my dad was home because I saw his far. I was confused. When I went inside, I saw my mom in tears and my dad had a look of pure shock. They were staring at the towers on TV. I was confused, but I learned about what happened. I'm so thankful my dad forgot his phone and had to go back and get it, otherwise, he would have been involved in that terrible attack.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow, that's amazing. i'm glad your dad forgot his phone too!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

my mom had a dentist appt, so my dad was watching me and my bro at his office. hes in the Air Force, and his secretary ran in and said something, and like, his whole office was in the lobby watching tv. i remember it clearly, but at the time didnt know what the buildings were, and didnt fully understand. everybody was crying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't remember. I was four, almost five. But, to be honest, I didn't even really know what it was until I was like 10 or 11 or 12. That's actually really surprising though, because I live near DC. You'd think that everyone in DC would remember, but I don't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it'd be cool if you were doing something really epic like bungee jumping so you could tell everyone that :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in 2nd grade, and I just remember getting off the bus and my mom meeting me at the bus stop and she said there was something she had to show me and my sister on TV. When we got home she showed us the news and explained what happened and why (but in terms we could understand). I don't even remember if the teachers talked about it during school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in fourth grade, sitting in science class. The teacher's daughter (she was in 6th grad- a "big kid") ran in and said that someone had bombed the World Trade Center. My teacher looked at her, shrugged, and said, "It's probably terrorists." Our recess was cancelled, and the principle came and talked to us about what it all meant. Later that day, at my sister's gymnastics lesson, we all just sat around and watched the footage again and again. Never forget.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

americans, you mean. the majority of the world didn't even know that it happened until a few days later, like me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was only 6, so I don't remember anything.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was young, I don't remember how old, but I remember sitting in school and all the teachers were freaking out. When I got home my mom and dad were freaking out as well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was 5 or 6, and I didn't really get it at all. It was normal day for me, and then my dad picked me up and told me that, "these two planes crashed into some skyscrapers," and I started looking around eagerly, but then he told me it happened in New York. I eventually understood how bad it was a few years later.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thanks, now I feel young even though I was only 1 or 2 years too young to know what was going on at the time. I was in like kindergarten, I had no idea what was going on, I don't even remember it. Apparently some of the older students in the elementary school saw it on the TV (my sisters), but I didn't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i was in kindergarden.. playin wit blocks :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was maybe in school. But too young to remember... I don't think I remember any of the teachers talking about it. But I remember that it was quiet

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in first grade. I remember school being let out early and parents looking for their kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i was a toddler

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in first grade...We got out early and then I watched the footage that night at home. I remember being really scared and confused.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I woke up on the floor in front of the tv to my Mom crying. I had just turned 5 when it happened.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, that's easy. I was 5, asleep in my bed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was eight and living on the west coast. When I came downstairs in the morning my mom was on the phone with my grandma and watching the news. I woke up in time to see the second tower fall. When I went out to the bus stop the neighbor girl was crying and didn't want to go to school, because she was convinced it would be attacked too. All of the teachers at my school spent the day explaining what had happened.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

D: I was 4.. Don't remember a thing!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I thought you were Canadian_Pimp and got all excited. D:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol.. Sorry to disappoint you! :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i was only five, but its one of the only memories i have of that time. i was in my backyard playing with my best friend whose mom worked in the north tower (thank god she got out). all i remember is her dad came over and told her they had to go home because something about her mom, and i went inside and watched the news with my parents...i don't really remember what was happening, but i remember being scared for my friend because she started to cry as she was leaving my house. it was a scary time, and there isn't a day that my best friend isn't thankful that her mom is safe

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in kindergarten; I don't remember it that vividly, but I remember my kindergarten teacher turning on the tv and all of us gathering around it to watch. ;-;

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was at home, and my mom was feeding me breakfast.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in second grade and didnt know what had happened at the time but I remember that a lot of kids were picked up. They didn't tell us what happened but i remember watching the news with my mom when we got home. Its also weird cuz about three weeks before we were in the city and I asked what these two big building were (the towers) and my parents said we could visit them some day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in my kindergarten class and everyone was getting picked up early. Except me. Becasue my parents thought that picking me up early was stupid and a waste of time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in third grade in school and in Baumholder, Germany. Everyone was panicing even though we were an ocean away. They ended school early and we went home to be with our families. They hung American flags in our school for remembrance. I thought that was very diplomatic of Germany. (:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes it was...And I just remember thinking it was a show, and not real. I wish it wasn't...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was five, I wish I remembered though :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was pretty little, I can't quite remember my age.. I remember my mom picking me up from the school and when we arrived home, we started watching the news and the second tower just got it :(. It was a sad day.. I also remember our local newspaper printed off a page within it that was an American flag and said "God Bless America" and they asked everyone to hang them in them windows of their home's. Within two days, every single window around town had these flags up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Was probably in kinderkarten or asleep, depends on what time it was

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in a kolache shop and the second I saw it I started crying and begging God to give those people their lives back, I was 3 then, now I'm older and I'm atheist. One because of that, and the other because of Mackenzie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I had no idea what was going on. I just wanted to watch my cartoons. o_o

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was 5 don't remember much but my sis was in math and my mom was watching it on the news

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I remember everything about that day except for the book I was reading and the clothes I wore. I was 11 and I lived (acutally still live) less than 20 mines away... You could smell the smoke in the air for more than a day and the streets were deserted except for the few people coming home from school or work... We had off from school the next day... I thought the world was ending and it made me feel sick.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in kindergarten and I remeber my mom came to pick up me and then my sister in daycare. We live in new York state so she was really scared and my dad came home from work early. I'll always remeber my mom telling me that she just wanted us to all be together. We just came home and watched the news and my parents just sat there crying. It was the first time I had ever seen my father cry...so I knew something was up

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was five. I remember not going to school and my mom was watching it on the news. I really didn't get it. The the next day my teacher talked about it a little to us

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was five. My mom picked my sister and me up from school and made us sit in her office the rest of the day. I live in Texas but everyone near my town was terrified because there is an army base here, and they supposedly made something there related to the situation. Eveyone was scared they were going to attack the base too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in afternoon kindergarden. I vividly remember walking into my mom's room as she was sitting on her bed just staring in shock at the TV. Still went to school that day...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was asleep. It happened at 1.15 in the morning.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in my 5th grad math class and they made the announcement over the intercom and we had to turn on the news...it was crazy

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't remember. I was four. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I do, and somehow I almost feel bad that I wasn't upset or really scared or whatever when it happened, although I know I was too young to understand.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was 9 and I was going to Disneyland with my family and when we got there they were turning everyone around and telling us to turn our radio's on...we went to IHOP I was too freaked out but I listened to my family talk about it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was in my friend's kitchen eating chicken and spaghetti when her dad turned on the tv. I was only little so I didn't understand what was happening but I remember feeling really scared because everyone went really quiet and my friend's mum started crying. It's strange how I remember it so clearly while I remember little else from that age so vividly even though I didn't know how important it was at the time.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was watching cycling on Eurosport and there was a vague mention about a plane crash in New York.It was several hours before I found out what had actually happened.
