I guess it's pointless to point out that there is good rap music out there, and then procede to list some songs in particular, and then call you ignorant, etc, because you've undoubtably heard it all before, correct?

I'm tired of this. Shitty pop music fills up mainstream media twice as much as rap has ever done, yet it doesn't get half the criticism rap does. The worst part is that the idiots who spontaneously bash rap usually don't know shit about music themselves and have the music taste of a kindergartener.

I totally agree that pop music today totally blows and is clogging up our airways. But i do dislike rap as well. Plus rap rhymed nicely, I thought it was clever although these jokes are starting to get a little old.

That is played on the radio, or at least it was when it came out. A lot. Eminem is pretty well known. :P I was thinking something more like A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Common, Bahamadia, etc. Those are the ones who aren't played enough that could give rap a better name. Some people just don't feel it, I guess. Their loss. *shrug*
