Is the post implying that your friendship with your best friend willl eventually degrade, or that you will initiate a friendship that will one day surpass that which you have with your current best friend? Either way, this post is becoming more and more pesimistic.

Well for the true meaning of the post, the oper would be the best person to ask. However Chauncy, I will attempt to answer your question. Well from my life experience, as you start spending more time with one person, you generally spend less with another. In the same manner as you spend more time with your husband, your best friend will probably be overshadowed... unless your husband and best friend become best friends as well, in which case... well let's hope you're into threeways
