It's ok if you can't reach the high notes of a song, but at least sing it an octave lower (or harmonize) instead of trying to hit the notes and sound like a dying cat in a fire, amirite?

Most people don't know how to harmonize or shift an octave up or down...

I always seem to forget to go the octave down, especially if I'm singing along with the music on. I hear the singer hitting those notes, so I follow in suit. Then I realize I can't hit them at all and switch real fast. (Which sounds really weird in the middle of the song.) ^_^; Yet, for some reason, I have no problem going an octave higher for when the notes are too low for me to hit. XD
