If by "cooler" you mean weirder then yes! Because in high school I used to have friends that were in band and friends that played football, the only reason I hung out with the band geeks was because we were childhood friends

the band people are soo awesome. i;m not even in band but i hang out with so many of them that i'm just included. they're sooo fun
