+514 Nickelodeon needs to realize that during their World Wide Day of Play, if they don't play any shows, we are just going to change the channel. It's not like we are actually going to go outside. amirite?

They are assuming that if you watch their channel, you don't watch anything I guess... But I think it's a nice sentiment, trying to get kids to be more active. I suspect Disney had a slight boost in viewing that day.

They just do it to make themselves look good, like they actually care, it seems more like it's a reputation type marketing strategy, even if it's on the stupid side.

When I used to watch nickelodeon, I kind of just stared at the screen for a while, "Today is the Worl Wide Day of Play! We're outside playing, and you should be too! We'll be back in an hour!"
