It kind of crushes your childhood knowing Mel Gibson voiced John Smith in Disney's Pocahontas, amirite?

I never knew that until now. My life has been a lie.

I knew that... It doesn't really bother me. I knew Pocahontas before I knew Mel Gibson, and it isn't my absolute favorite Disney movie. So no worries here :)

I totally dont get why that would ruin your childhood
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not particularly. I mean, he's a pretty weird guy, but he sure can act well.

I knew that when I was little. It was actually kind of cool knowing who the voice was.

I've always known he voiced him

What got me is that Mel Gibson is Australian and John Smith was supposed to British, but the character had an American accent.
by Anonymous13 years ago
And that Pocahontas was actually 11 when she met John Smith.
