I just heard someone say something like that the other night after my homecoming! Except I think her name was Haley but close enough.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I disagree with that, because it should be Kayley.

(Frogs_Legs+the+Troll): Technically, the right spelling is Kaylee. I'm not saying that variations of the name are bad, like Caylee or Kayley, but my post was just making fun of all the ridiculous spellings in general. Caitlin to Kaiytlynne, Kristen to Krystyn, ect. all those ridiculous spellings bug me. But some variations are OK.

thats the irish way..
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah though your alternative obviously isn't right, it really isn't Kaylee.... That's like saying my mate Michael is actually spelt Mycall. So yeah. It's a Gaelic name spelt Kayleigh. Americanisation.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I spell mine Kaelee. I love going bowling and seeing the different ways that they spell my name, haha.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Actually I spell it Kailey. And teachers always call me Kyleigh :( But I think my spelling is the prettiest, no offense. All the Kailey's out there no matter how you spell it, we have awesome names :PPPP
by Anonymous13 years ago
That what i was going to say. I've never seena Kaylee... Though I shouldn't talk considering my name is Allyson, and is usually spelled Allison or Alison...
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's Caitlin, not Katelynn. Seriously, even spell check prefers it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I really don't think anyone spells it kaighyleigh its more likely to be spelt Kaleigh .......
by Anonymous13 years ago
My name is Kaleigh.. thats how its normally spelt. Leigh spells lee..so its kinda common name.
by Anonymous13 years ago
actually it's Ceili :)
(the Irish Gaelic spelling...maybe Kayleigh is Scottish Gaelic??)
by Anonymous13 years ago
They can spell it however the hell they want to
by Anonymous13 years ago
One of my best friends is named Kayleigh. I like that much better than Kaylee.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's how my cousin spells it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't know a single person who spells is like Kaylee.
I think the most obvious one is Ashley vs. Ashleigh/Ashlee.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's really not up to you how they spell it
Nevertheless, I like your post because it's funny
by Anonymous13 years ago
usually the girl chooses to spell it differently because she wants to be "unique"
by Anonymous13 years ago
My name is Kaylee. There are two other Kaylee's at my school, all spelled like that.
by Anonymous13 years ago

There's a girl I know who also spells it Kaylee, but mine is Cailey. I don't really like the C thing, it just looks weird and everyone spells it wrong anyway
by Anonymous13 years ago
My friend spells her name Kaylea. I also know a Kaylee though
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you actually meet a Caleigh from Ireland, she definitely won't spell it Kaylee. Unless she's a stripper, but that's a different thing.
