Dr. Seuss made up unbelievably creative characters with silly names that appealed to kids. So what if the words were made up? He was a genius with words and stories. And don't forget that lots of his books have really good messages.

Shakespeare made up thousands of words that we still use today (such as "puke" and "road") but I don't heat you complaining about him.
