+411 You know, the term "Asian"' includes Indians. Indians are Asians too, not some scary sub-species of brown. Amirite?

But... but they are a sub species of brown

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Im Indian, but I kinda need a tan.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nah...we're Asians, man.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That doesn't mean they can't be further broken down...just as there's a difference between Candians and Americans there's a difference between, say, Indians and Koreans.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Based on cultural differences, I'd say there's actually a much larger difference

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yes but they say asians and indians

Russell peters

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha I just like the quote "Scary Sub-species of brown"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they don't live on a continent, they live on a sub-continent, that makes they aren't asians, they are sub-asians.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they live in the continent of asia what map are you reading?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They insist they live on a "subcontinent"...therefore I deem them "sub-asians"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wooo indians ftw!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So are Pakistanis, Bangladeshis/Bengalis, Burmese(Myanmar), and Indonesians

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"sub-species of brown" haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, and Bangladeshis are CULTURALLY and GEOGRAPHICALLY Asian. But, RACIALLY they are really brown caucasians. However people in North East India, certain parts of Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan are generally a mix of the "Brown" and the "Mongol* " race. But since Asia is a continent, when using the term "Asian" you should not refer exclusively to far east Asians...they need to configure a politcally correct term for that race. *the "Mongol" race refers to east asians, ( slanted eye lids, flat-ish nose, and straight black hair ) sorry to those who find it offensive, but there is no other term really, and even if they are they are probably even more offensive like " chinks" or "orientals"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Oriental asian" is what most people think of when they say asian. That term would exclude India, pakistan etc.

I've always hated geograpy, why make me visit it again? Anyway, I agree. There was this one time where a person asked me where I'm from, and I told her to guess. I wanted to narrow it down, so I said I'm from Asia. The person replied "But you don't look chinese!". *sigh* Arabs are asians, too! Should I really get a list of the countries in Asia so people can memorize it?
