+530 Its annoying when you're in a restaunt and you order a coke, and they ask if pepsi is OK, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

At least they're asking you and not using pepsi without your consent.

I asked for Coke, not Pepsi... xD

YEAAAA so true

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Well they don't serve coke, so they want to know if you'd be O.K with pepsi, which is almost exactly the same. How annoying and rude of them.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

If it's not, then gtfo, they taste identical. How stupid.

HELL NO is monopoly money ok

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its even more annoying when you ask for pepsi and the ask if coke is ok. You're ok with it but as your drinking it, you dont get full satisfaction. Which leads to poor tips :D lol

Well, I mean, if they don't have coke then what would you suggest they say besides suggesting the closer alternative? And plus it's a question, not a demand. And besides, what do you expect them to do, pull a Coke out of their ass? Get over yourself and bring your own damn Coke if it's that big of a deal

I agree with gameboy !

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No! It's not okay pepsi sucks and coke is bomb

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dr. Pepper FTW!!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why is that annoying? They're the exact same thing. I hate eating with people like the OP, they'll probably also send back everything twice because it's not exactly perfect.

"I apologize, but we don't have any coke. We do however, have the exact same thing, but it comes in different packaging. I do hope that the blue color doesn't disturb you."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pepsi and coke are not the same thing, they have different tastes. But I don't mind either and when I say coke I mean coca cola or Pepsi

It's because Pepsi-Co and Coca-Cola are competitive companies. Most places are forced to either sell Pepsi products or Coke products. My town's baseball concession stand signed a contract with Coke on that, so that means no Dr. Pepper (my fav).
