I don't remember there being anything romantic about Juliet. As a matter of fact, does anyone else actually not like this story at all? I think they're both idiots.

Yeah, I'd agree. Juliet is a skank and a dumbass. She was what? 14 when she wanted to ride Romeo's disco stick.

To be fair back then they had shorter life expectancies, so they had to get married in their teens.

Exactly, it was more common to get married at a younger age then. So really their age is not too young in that aspect, it just seems young compared to the socially accepted age of marriage now.
