God, that would be awful. Just imagine it: like reading your own poem or essay for English. It's certainly not the same experience as to the viewer/reader, because you have all this unneeded information and regrets and memories about making the thing.

I know authors have to read their books half a million times to check for errors or places they could add things. Not sure about film makers though.
