+378 Whenever they mention your state(the one that is not important at all) on a TV show you get excited, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ya canada!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in California, is that important? well, actually the Bay Area. It's like a different state here.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i was about to say, california is mentioned in everything ever

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Dude..Where in the bay do you live? :O

by Anonymous 12 years ago

San Francisco. It's cold in the summer and warm in the winter. Plus there's the whole Bay to Breakers thing, and gay pride parades, and crazy colored houses.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ahhhhhh no shit I know all that.. I live in Mill Valley about 10 mins from SF :)

Wait, Iowa's a state? Oh yeah. That's right. Forgot that about that one. Iowa is never in anything. Besides Field of Dreams. That's what people know it from apparently. Hooray for living in a state that people from the coasts don't even know exists!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It was mentioned in National Treasure, if that makes you feel any better.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The Music Man! They have a whole song about it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

one time I saw an ice-cream/cake place on t.v. that's in the mall in my town. I was very excited.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Go Montana!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah I can't say I know how this feels...the show Psych is based in my city (:

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Maine

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I love it when my state gets mentioned, and it's mentioned often enough. Not nearly as much as California or New York, but still.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There was a character from Lost from my home town. He was an annoying redneck -_- However, the movie "Zombieland" makes up for it.

They ALWAYS name Vermont when they want to talk about a hick, middle-of-nowhere place. It gives us a bad rep a lot of the time, quite frankly.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I get DOUBLE excited when someone mentions Eritrea though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Your from Eritrea?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

My parents are. I was born in America, though.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

My ears perk up when I hear DC, Virginia, or Maryland. And Texas.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Louisiana...although Treme is based in New Orleans. but until recently, it hasn't really been mentioned. except Swamp People, and I find it very funny that they have to have subtitles for the people with really Southern accents and I can understand them perfectly.

CONNECTICUT, BABY!!!!!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Go, Nevada!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Delaware. We can't even be the smallest state, damn Rhode Island. We've got horseshoe crabs, though...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

i live in california, so it always happens

by Anonymous 12 years ago

California, baby. Half the shows on the television are based here! The other half are in New York.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Woo, Nebraska!! xD Corn and cows. It's frickin amazing. Hahaha... I do love it, though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You guys have cows? In indiana all we have is corn.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oregon... once on Saturday Night Live there was a skit and part of it was about the Oregon ducks football team. It was really cool :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Nobody ever mentions Iowa. When they do, my mom and I get a little too excited about it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Mostly, my town gets referenced in Hannah Montana episodes, since it is the Miley's hometown. As a note, it isn't like the movie portrays, nor called Crowley Corners. It isn't country at all, mostly just white rich people and country music stars.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Replace state with country or city and you're 100% correct. Senegal and Dakar are very rarely mentioned by anyone outside of West Africa!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Idaho is where Napoleon Dynamite was filmed, but other than that, it isn't mentioned on TV (that I know of).

by Anonymous 12 years ago

North Carolina isn't mentioned on tv much. Unless you're watching a plane show. But who watches plane shows? Oh this one time a hotdog place not 20 minutes away was in the final-four of a Rachael Ray hotdog competition. It made me happy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oklahoma bitches.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

South Dakota: Pretty much only known for Mt. Rushmore. And I don't even live on that side of the state!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

We were watching a movie called Super Volcano. When they mentioned how much ash the city we live in would get, everyone was cheering purely because they mentioned where we live.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wisconsin's not mentioned a lot. All I know is that That 70s Show, Happy Days and an episode of Criminal Minds were based here somewhere. But we're not acknowledged a lot.
