by Anonymous 12 years ago

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you would XDDD They're amazing right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yes!!! They were! I was sad when I finished them.. lol

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah I know! I don't want to lose the characters XD So I read fanfiction *blush* But I like to pretend the last book didn't happen because there was just so much sadness :'(

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Totally.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've read it, but why does Katniss have to go like insane at the end? Like really.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was seriously mad at Suzanne Collins.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I want to :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

<3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What's it about? I always hear so many good things about it :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:D Here> In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the anual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and young sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before-and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Cool, thanks. I'll have to check it out over winter break or sometime when I can actually read something not for school haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It won't take long to read, I finished the first one in less than 2 days

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just don't read the last one. Actually, only read the first one. Because the second one's good, but if you read it, you'll have to read the last one. And the last one was a huge disappointment.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's amazing!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's so good!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't plan to either. I skimmed it, and frankly it isn't appealing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why do you think so? I loved it--my father liked the book, but said he disliked the brutality. Same reason? I'm genuinely interested.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was kind of boring to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ahh. Did you get very far? I enjoyed all the references to the Roman Empire, Bread and Circuses indeed, even the names. The authoress is very into mythology too--her last book series referenced Greek mythology a lot. I thought it was an interesting concept, because eventually you put yourself in that situation. You know, what would you do?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just finished it today! It's awesome! I have yet to buy the second one~

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People who voted No Way: Your life has yet to be fulfilled.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I plan on reading it, as soon as I finish the book I'm reading.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:D awesome

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I only read the first few pages it was kinda boring but I heard it gets better. lol I borrowed it from my 7th grade teacher and I never gave it back o.o

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love Hunger Games <3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love the series! It's a little difficult to get into at first, but once I started reading I couldn't put it down!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I REALLY need mockingjay

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the best book ever. hands down.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you mean the best trilogy!! :DD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just started it today XD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I LOVED the first two and the third one was good but it kinda pissed me off... Kinda like the 5th Harry Potter

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same, except for me it was like HP7. Although I did have the same reactions after I finished reading both books.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I hated the ending of HP7. I mean, what was the point of killing me?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Dude, when you died, I was in shock. I just kind of sat there and put the book down for ten minutes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, I agree. Gale<3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really?...gale seemed kinda like a dick to me...but then again peeta was kinda screwed up so it was a lose lose for her...but she pissed me off the most cause she was basses for the first two and in this one she was helpless...ugh what happened to her mad fighting skills?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with you on Gale! He was fine with killing all those innocent people!!!! Also yeah Katniss seemed really weak and helpless in Mockingjay, but then again she was losing everything she ever cared about

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hehe. I got the first 2 for Christmas last year. Read them both in about 4 days (total). I'm currently reading Mockingjay! :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Best books ever!! Deff puts the Twilight Saga to shame.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I read Mockingjay in four hours. My eyes were getting messed up though =P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahahaha I just hibernated in my room with the first book and finished in about 6 hours. Only problem was that I didn't really get to feel attached to people like Rue coz I went through them so quickly :/

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I haven't read them, and don't plan to.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I fucking haven't. Thank you Mr. Jackass for pointing it out. Kidding, I wanna read them so badly, but try getting a copy when you live in El Salvador lol. I'm lucky I got The Name of the Wind.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They're all awesome. The third one was kind of a let down though, she wasn't as bad-ass, and it wasn't as good as the first two. Anyone who pressed NW should read it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

one of the best books i have ever read. but i am definitely NOT excited for the movie. worst casting ever!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

FUCKING THIS!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh my God, it's exactly at zero. *makes negative*

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago
