I notice mostly when I have to look at them especially if multiple times in one day.

When I'm bored, I look at the people around me (who are usually my friends) and try to figure out what time period they'd be thought of as most good-looking in. So I actually think about it a fair amount.

I kinda do something a BIT similar. When I look at someone, I try to think, "if they were the opposite sex, would they be good looking if their facial features didn't change"? That time peroid idea is interesting though, I may give that a go.
