I hate Disney hipsters as much as the next person, but it's just annoying when ANY movie is remade into HD. If it was great before, HD isn't necessary.

Movies aren't "remade" into HD any more than they're "remade" into DVD quality.

They really do look best originally and it's horrible how all these spoiled little kids who have HD for everything will complain about them not looking as seamless as Spongebob or Dora.

i was just thinking about that the other day! i liked the old 2D-looking disney better too, than this new more "lifelike" animation

You do realise that the image quality of the original films was DOWNGRADED to VHS and DVD quality? Movies are not naturally made at low quality, it's just scaled down from the film to whatever the home media is at the time. Otherwise, for the hand-drawn animation such as all the Disney classics they would literally need to redraw every frame again. Instead, they just make a much better digital copy of the original film. Do you also despise CD, MP3 / FLAC music because record players were good enough?
