+1,317 If you were born in 1999 you dont really count as a real 90's kid. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fo' sho. 1994 represent!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And guess what? You are NOT a 90's kid if you were born in 1994. You didn't exist in 1990, 1991, 1992, or 1993, you were a BABY in 1994, an INFANT in 1995, and a TODDLER in 1996 and 1997. Stop waving your 1998 and 1999 flag, because TWO years is not enough. You were 6 in 2000, 7 in 2001, 8 in 2002, 9 in 2003, 10 in 2004, 11 in 2005, and 12 in 2006. That's SEVEN years in the 00's against TWO years in the 90's. You are a 2000's kid if you were born after March 31, 1993.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Why you so aggressive? Take a chill pill.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

This is sooo true. Don't try to "HEY REMEMBER BACK IN THE DAYS...?" "ummm, no. you weren't born then." and try to be all cool:/ and it's not like I really lived that much of my life in the 90's but hey 95's one of the best years out there;)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

wow never knew someone who remembered stuff when they were 3 and younger.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you'd be surprised.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're not really a 90's kid unless you were born in like the late 80's or something. You're more like a 90's toddler.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Obviously, I mean I didn't actually grow UP in the 90's right. But I still remember a lot of the stuff even though I was like three/four. My older brother was a 90's kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I find it quit odd that you have a gun in your hand as your profile picture and you just pretty much admitted that you talked to a 13 year old child in your comment. No offence, but you sound like a creep to me...

by Anonymous 10 years ago

I was born in 1993 and still don't feel like a 90s kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ayye, we're the same age ;D *wink wink*.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Mee too!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

95. I feel like a partial 90's kid. I don't exactly remember some things, but if someone mentions something specific, I'm sort of like "OH YEAh!!!! That was awesome."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You remember 90's re-runs. You are a 2000's kid.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

if you ask me if you were born in 1990-99 your basically a 90's kid cause it's still in the 90's ._. just at the end

by Anonymous 10 years ago

I was born in 1996. I dressed like a 90's kid and watched 90's shows cause I am a 90's kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Me 2 97 represent!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@624128 (Spose): Both of you are wrong. I'm a 96er and I do NOT classify myself as a 90's kid. Yes, I grew up watching the shows, I remember a little of the fads, but still I'm pretty sure we are not 90's kids.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah, my little brother is a 96 and he would be only 4 when it ended. Even though the "90s" were still around in the early 2000s and he grew up with 3 other pure-bred 90 kids... he sill isnt classified because most of his life is in 2000s. but he's alright =)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess we can call ourselves "half-90's". The kids who started out with Nintendo 64 and ended up with a Playstation.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I still have my N64 and my old playstation:D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@624337 (SOFTBALL8): Yayayay i remember all of the showss i loved the 90s but i think of my self as an early 2000 kid cuz i remembered 2000 better then the 90's

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow 1991. I feel old compared to everyone who commented :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Me too. 1992.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Woot Woot '91!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If it makes you feel any better, I was born in 1990. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha that does make me feel better :]

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YEAAAAHHH , '91 :D I think of myself as a bit of a 90's kid and a naughties kid :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think the 90's technically continued until about 2002... things didn't really start changing until '03 or '04 and i'm also a 95er, and i definitely remember being 3 and 4

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You are still not a 90's kid. That's like saying 85ers are 80's kids. I'm a 90er, and I'm a 90's kid, but anyone born after 1992 is not a 90's kid. http://ctrlv.in/126637

by Anonymous 11 years ago

95 and up doesn't really count as a 90's kid... sorry

by Anonymous 13 years ago

we still lived in the 90's as a kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Are you sure? I don't think so...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm pretty sure I was alive from 1996 to 2000. If you really need me to, I can go track down my birth certificate.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Doesn't sound very convincing...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@624188 (nakama): Okay. This is my offer, I will build a time machine. I will put you in the time machine. I will set the date and place to May 27th, 1996 in California. I will give you a piece of paper with all my information on it just in case you have head trauma in your time traveling. I will press the button and you can go visit me as an infant. You can stay for the next 4 years to make sure I was alive in 1996 to 2000. Deal?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You were more of a 90s toddler

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes I was a toddler for most of the 90's, but I was most definitely alive in the 90's. In 1998-2000 I was 4-5ish and that is a little KID. A-hah! I have no idea why I'm "fighting" my opinion.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, 1998-2000 you were 2-4.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nailed it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

score!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So you were born in 1996... Do you remember the 1998 Winter Olympics? OF COURSE YOU DON'T YOU LITTLE SHIT, YOU ARE A 2000'S KID, LIKE IT OR NOT!!!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

you might have been alive, but you were just a baby and a toddler, not a kid. I have a little brother born in 95 and I know that the things we watched were totally different. I was born in 89 and my childhood was alot more 90s than his as he only got the late 90s stuff like teletubbies, tweenies. whereas I got the main 90s stuff like mmpr, beetleborgs, biker mice from mars that he was too young for. the decade was 1/2 way over before you were born.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

you're a 90's kid, but late 80's early 90's (85-93) just remember more :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

1993 is NOT early 90's. If 97-99 is late, then 90-92 should be early. the 4 year period goes to the middle. 93-96 are mid 90's.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Even 94 and most of 93 don't count as 90's kids.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I consider myself a 90's kid. I was born in early 1996. I remember some shows & the clothing & such. I was alive. I thought being a 90's kid was just being a kid in the 90's. :P gosh.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think I would consider kids born in 98' or 99' as 90's babies but 2000's kids. Do you agree?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Do you remember the 1998 Winter Olympics? Of course you don't, you were only turning 2 that year, you are a 2000's kid.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Representing 1993! There seem to be some of us here, haha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@624196 (Anonymous): WOOT! <i feel like a loser now

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think I ever called myself a 90's kid. I am a 96 baby..... Only four years in the 90's. But I do remember watching pokémon ( the original not the crap out now) with my brothers! And that was before school so I was like 3 or 4.... Does that count??

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Since you remember pokemon, we can make it count :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wooooo hooooooo! =D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

NO! You were born after 1992! You are a 00's kid, you 1996 fag!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You care too much

by Anonymous 11 years ago

No i was born Dec 31, 1999 at like 11:59PM (jk)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hahahahahahahhahahahahah this made me laugh too hard

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you welcome :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was supposed to be born in 95 but I was born late, in january,96 :( but I think 96 is the latest to classify yourself as a 90's kid

by Anonymous 13 years ago

NO IT'S NOT, 1992 IS THE EARLIEST! You were a baby in 1996, an infant in 1997, and a toddler in 1998 and 1999, you little shit! Do you remember the 1998 Winter Olympics? Of course you don't, you were only turning 2 that year!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Beware of the cap lock. It is a sickening disease spreadable through the internet that is constantly misused by people as a way to offend someone through their computer. Fiddle Diddle is a prime example of someone who has the cap lock disease.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

92 kid, original legends of hidden temple is a good reference for me. I miss it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I. LOVE. THAT SHOW!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Kanye West): Bringing back memories! (92 also)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Kanye West): I always wanted to be on that show

by Anonymous 13 years ago

^Why are there so many 14 year olds on amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In my opinion if you were born in 96 or later you should just get off the webiste.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

way to many 14 yr. olds

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you have to actually remember most of the '90s to be considered a '90s kid. I really don't consider anybody born after '93 a '90s kid. Most of the shows you all are remembering were reruns when you actually watched them. I barely consider myself a '90s kid and I was born in '90. I actually remember watching the original Power Rangers.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with you. I was born in '93 but I don't consider myself a true '90s kid. I mean I was a "kid" in 1999 and thats the end of the '90s. I think '93 to 95' fall in kinda '90s kid but not really and after '95 you are definitely not a '90s kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Agreed. I was born in '90 as well and I still don't really feel like a 90s kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You see all these people saying oh I remember the original Power Rangers and was born in '97 blah blah blah. I just want to say no, no you don't. I barely remember that lol, all you remember are the reruns.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People who were born in the late 90s are 90s babies

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Exactly! People born from 90-92 were the only ones born in the 90's that were actually KIDS! People born from 93-95 were only in their early childhood, and still didn't know jack shit about the world. People born in 96 and 97 were only TODDLERS! And people born in 98 and 99 were still sucking on their mamas tits for milk. Therefore, 50's Kids = 1943-1952 60's Kids = 1953-1962 70's Kids = 1963-1972 80's Kids = 1973-1982 90's Kids = 1983-1992 00's Kids = 1993-2002 10's Kids = 2003-2012

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That is incorrect, a generation is every 10 years so from 1900-1910 is 1 generation and the first generation of the 1900s and from 1910-1920 is 1 generation etc... It goes like that until the 1900s have come to an end thus meaning the 00s have begun.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

I was born on September 13th 1999 and I don't have to watch Power Rangers or Dragon Ball Z or Saved by the Bell in order to be considered a 90s kid. There is no TV show or Movie that can justify whether I was born in a specific generation or not

by Anonymous 10 years ago

Well... i was born in 1997 to be exact. I don't consider myself a 90s kid because most of my life, all the significant parts atleast, mostly happened in the 2000s. But my family raised me well. I had 2 other pure-born 90s siblings (they were born in 89 and 88, so they actually really, grew up in the 90s) i had my siblings to look up to. I remember watching Captain Planet, the Original Pokemon, original Power Rangers, saved by the bell, etc (even though some of the episodes my have been re-runs) with my brother and sister. My brother was a big influence to me for the 90s music... its the main thing i listen to. Theres alot of stuff I've gotten out of the 90s from my siblings. So even though i don't consider myself as a 90s kid, I have a "personality"... so to speak, of one. Does that make any sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Pure born" sounds like Harry Potter.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes it does make sense. It's the same for me. I'm the youngest and my 3 older siblings were born in 87, 89, and 92. Siblings influence you so much!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I owned a Sega Saturn and played Virtual Fighter. You can't get much more 90's than that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My older sister had a Sega Saturn!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha i have mine in my closet at home, my neice plays with it when she stays with me...good stuff

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i was born in 96 and i watched all the 90's shows because of my sister even though she was only born in 92. i consider myself a 90's kid even though i didnt spend alot of my life there

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same here. Born in 96 but still consider myself a 90s kid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Too bad, you are not a 90's kid. you didn't exist from 90-95, you were a baby in 96, an infant in 97, and a toddler in 98 and 99. If you were born from 93-99, you are not a 90's kid.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

welp....i was almost 9 when 2000 hit so I guess I'm a 90's kid. all those pics of me and my sis dresses in ugly clothes are proof, lol! i think, if you were old enough to know and understand the elections, you can call yourself a 90s kid :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you weren't old enough to stay up til midnight on Y2K, then you're not a 90s kid

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I feel like January 1st, 1995 is a good cutoff point. If you didn't live through at least half of the decade, then you are not a 90's kid. 5 year olds in any decade are pretty much the same. As a 1994 kid, I feel like I'm a mix of the 90's and the early millennium, as are the kids from '92 to '94.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nope, January 1, 1995 is too late to be the cutoff point. The REAL cutoff point is March 31, 1993.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Jan, 22, 95', then?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haven't we already gone through this?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The 11 people who voted no are 11 years old.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

1988! Yay!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

1992! but i kinda wish i was born in the 80s so i could remember more of the 90s, because looking back, that was a great decade!!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why is there even a huge debate on this? Who cares if someone in 1996 considers themselves a 90's kid? It's not like all of the ugly clothes and tacky tv just stopped when yr 2000 came along. Is it like some internet meme, like if you're not a "90's kid" your not cool and you're just a small child? I think all of this is stupid.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

THIS. SO MUCH.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because people born from 1993-1999 should just shut the fuck up, and wait for the 2000's to become nostalgic. 2000-2006 were good, so 93ers, 94ers, 95ers, 96ers, 97ers, 98ers, and 99ers should just STFU, and be proud of the 2000's. I was born in 1990, and I'm a 90's kid with a 2000's overlap.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

does january '96 count as a 90's kid? lol probably not, but I'm still glad I was born last century at least.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm really proud if myself for writing this!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was born in '93 and like the term that someone above used: "transition kid." I was a kid in the late 90s and early 00s. Recently I found out that a lot of the shows I watched as a kid were mostly reruns of early 90s shows (Animaniacs, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, Freakazoid, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, etc.). My mom bought a Nintendo 64 a year before the Gamecube came out in 2000, so that's what I grew up playing. I danced the Macarena and repeated Britney Spears lyrics. I played Pokémon Silver on my Gameboy Color. On the other hand, I also love Fairly Oddparents. I grew up playing as much Gamecube as I did N64. I wanted a Sidekick II. I sucked at Dance Dance Revolution. I thought Ja Rule was cool. So really, in the transition between the 20th century and the 21st century, I became cultured with 90s tastes and 2000s sensibilities. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm also a 96er, but I really think all of the other 14 year olds should stop trying to argue that they are 90s kids because in ten years you might be yelling at some kid born in 2006 and telling them that they aren't true 00's kids because they were were only toddlers.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

96er here (sounds like a football team), and, yes, as much as I HATE HATE HATE the last decade, we are, unfortunately, the corrupted generatio. 1986-1995, I would count as 90's kids. We were only toddlers, and we can't remember squat. THUS, in conclusion, we are not 90's kids. TECHNICALLY, we are. But, in every other way possible, we are 2000's kids. But, hey, first generation of the 21st century! And, if I am correct, the 3rd millenium!(AD wise.)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, 93ers, 94ers, and 95ers are on the same boat as you 96ers, 97ers, 98ers, and 99ers. 90's kids were born from 1983-1992, NOT 1986-1995! And your saying you hated your childhood? Leeds me to think that you will kill yourself on your 18th Birthday in 2014!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

'96er. I was only a toddler when it was the 90's so I don't count myself at a 90's kid, but I was a lucky one, because my parents always had me watch all the 90's Nickelodeon shows on VCR, and growing up I had a bunch of hand me down 90's stuff from cousins. Plus I also got the 90's hand me down clothes. So I don't count myself as a 90's kid, but I do remember growing up around a bunch of 90's stuff. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's funny how everyone freaks out over who is a 90's kid and who isn't. I was born in 1996 yet part of the era of the 90's was still going on around the early 2000's, which I clearly remember. I wouldn't be so confident in that if it wasn't for that everything that people speak about relating to the 90's, I remember in the 2000's.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, 90's culture ended in June of 1998. the last 5 months of 1998 were the last 5 months of 90's culture, because they were the last 5 months when grunge was popular and when Windows 95 was the main OS. In the last 7 months of 1998, Britney Spears took over, Windows 98 replaced Windows 95, and cassette taped were obsolete. May 3, 1993 - June 9, 1998 was the 90's culture era. June 10, 1998 - September 20, 2003 was it's own millennial era. September 21, 2003 - February 6, 2007 was the punk rock era. February 7, 2007 - November 23, 2010 was the tween era November 24, 2010 - Today is the shitty SWAG and YOLO era.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Honestly, I would write paragraphs and paragraphs of how ignorant and arrogant some people here can get but honestly I would never want to change my childhood because I loved my childhood in the 00's and I wouldn't change it for the world and some people may argue that the 90's is so much better because of Spice Girls and TLC. Tell that to a 00's kid. We honestly DON'T GIVE A DAMN about Spice Girls, my sister had explain to me who the hell they were.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

The 90s culture ended in 2002 with the cancellation of NBA on NBC. The cutoff date for being a 90s kid is September 20, 1996. Anyone born on that date (or later) is an iPhone era kid. Anyone between July 15, 1983-September 19, 1996 is a 90s kid. I'm a 95er myself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, the cutoff point is March 31, 1993. Do 96ers remember the 1998 Winter Olympics? Of course they don't, they were only turning 2 that year! 96ers only watched RE-RUNS of 90's shows, not the actual shows when they were airing in the 90's.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Ok, here's the ultimate test of whether or not you were a 90's kid. Do you accurately and completely remember going to see the Power Rangers movie IN THEATRES? If not, GTFO. :D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Maybe they didn't like Power Rangers, or maybe they didn't have a theater to go to because they were from Africa or the middle east? You and a bunch of other people are being extremely bias to the point where I'm just shaking my head at you through my computer.

by Anonymous 10 years ago

^Oh, and if you say, which one? Then you are not a 90's kid haha

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was born in 89 and I'm not an 80s kid so someone born in 99 is not a 90s kid. If you were born in the late 80s or 1990-1992 then you're a 90s kid, because you would have been 7 or older when it ended. Someone born in 99 would be under 1 (a baby) when the 90s ended. Hardly a kid. At least you got a taste of the early 00s if you were born in 99 which were actually OK. My little sister was born in february 2001 and she is a 00s kid just like someone born in late 99, as there is little more than a year seperating them. Someone born in 99 cannot remember Rosie and Jim, Tots TV, Animaniacs, Sooty and Co, MMPR, beetleborgs and things like that. I don't care what they say, most of those shows ended before you were born. Watching them on You tube or on repeats is not the being there at the time when they were popular. I could watch old black and white films, doesn't mean I was there at the time. Just my opinion.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Funny how that I was born in 1995 but yet listen to 80s music.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

People come on its just a freaking decade! I was born in 2000 and I watched Pokemon, and Rugrats! God it's not that big of a deal! That decade is done get over it!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You were born in 2000? You know that the Amirite age is 13, right? You are only like 11 or 12 if you were born in 2000. So FUCK OFF THE INTERNET, and wait until next year!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

People are really so mean to 00s kids

by Anonymous 11 years ago

We can use simple math to solve this argument. Lets say childhood begins at age 4, because 3 year-olds are still toddlers, and ends when you hit your 13th birthday and become a teenager. So the 9 year range of ages 4-12 (inclusive) are the childhood years. Which ever decade you spent the majority of those years in is your main childhood decade. Therefore the cut off to be a "more 90s kid" than a "more 00s kid" would be like June 30, 1991 since that's the last birth date that would have at least 4.5/9 years of childhood in the 90s. But even late 91 and 92 spent a good portion of their childhoods in the 90s, not to mention some would consider age 12 and even 11 their own category ("preteen"). There's no doubt 1993-96 would remember some of the 90s, but their childhoods were definitely more in the 00s. Btw, 1986 is the ultimate 90s kid birth year since they would have turned 4 in 1990 and 13 in 1999, making all years aged 4-12 in the 90s with no overlap in either bordering decade. I was born in 1990 so I was a kid from October 28, 1994 through October 27, 2003, so I spent more of my childhood in the 90s than the 00s. I personally think of my main childhood spanning roughly 1996-2001

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I was born in 1999 and there is no question about it. I am not a 90s kid at all! I really hate it when people my age try to fit in with the 90s crowd because they are just making themselves look stupid. We are 00s kids! I love the 00s it was my childhood. I don't know about anything from the 90s and I admitt it. So to all the people my age who think they are 90s STOP!! You are embarresing are generation.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

People are overrating the 90s. Just admit it guys, the 00s is so much better than the 90s because not only can you watch reruns of the shows and music in the 90s and become a total hipster, but you'll also have the technology to stream it. Come on, who would ever want to live in a generation where the iPhone or Samsung was not invented yet? Heck, even the ratchet ass flippie phones weren't even invented yet. I thank God that I was born on the last year of the 90s because I would never be able to take the pain and torture of living in a generation with a sorry excuse of technology. You can live through the 90s in the 00s but you cannot live through the 00s in the 90s. Shows like Saved by the Bell or Power Rangers are still extremely easy to watch, just stream it. We could also listen to TLC, Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys on Youtube but we could never listen to Justin Bieber, One Direction, Drake or Nicki Minaj in the 90s, we could never watch the Big Bang Theory, Pretty Little Liars or Jersey Shore in the 90s. But we can relive the 90s culture with the 00s technology we have provided for us.

This whole concept is completely BIASED! You can't go around saying that you have to watch Rugrats or Power Rangers in order to be a 90's kid because some people who you guys consider a '90's kid' have never even seen any of those shows because they’re from other parts of the world or are less fortunate than you are. Some of you guys are really being narrow minded and hard headed. Who are you to judge who is from the 90's or not and go bashing others who think otherwise (I don't want to name names) but seriously stop being dimwits and get over the fact that everyone has different views and perspectives. They have their own opinion that they are entitled to! If you live in a 1st world country than you should know that everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions. This whole website was designed for people to share their thoughts so get over the fact that some people may think they’re a 90's kid and some people may not and you should know that it's just their view. I myself really don't care that much if someone says I'm a 90's kid or not but I hate to see people getting cyber bullied because of the fact that they have different thoughts. What has this world gotten to? YOU guys are our elders and YOU guys are the ones who shaped what we are today and if you constantly keep bickering about a topic that is so useless and dumb then YOU guys are the children. Amirite is 13+ so the next time you make an inappropriate comment like calling someone a fag or an idiot etc... Then think about all the kids who are reading these comments and learning all this foul language from YOU! I do admit it; I sometimes swear and say inappropriate things but just remember that I got that from YOU! The people who are older than me, the people who I’m supposed to look up to are being cruel to children like myself, you guys seriously have no life. I'm just a kid, I was born in 1999 and I know I may sound older because of the use of my vocabulary some people may say but that doesn't change the fact that I am a legal child and you guys are wasting your precious time getting pleasure from tormenting kids and justifying that they are not from the same generation as you because they didn't watch your favourate shows (I'm Canadian so I spell it as 'favourite' not 'favorite'.) You have to realize like I stated before, some people aren't as fortunate as you are, they may not have had a TV to watch the shows in the 90's manufactured in North America. Some people may just have different cultures as you. The gist of what I am trying to state in this last paragraph is that the statement that you have to watch a specific select few of shows produced in the U.S. and Canada in order to be a 90's kid is incorrect because not everyone in the entire world has a TV and not everyone in the entire world lives in the U.S. and Canada therefore that assumption is incorrect as I suspected.

To all people who were born in 1996-1999. We have lived through 3 decades, 2 centuries and 2 millenniums and we're not even 18 yet! 1999 represent!

I honestly don't know what's so bad about being born in year 2000. It's not like your going to get cooties. It's just a year. Seriously, take a chill pill.

I have to agree with BlackDrop that the older generations pick on us way to much and I think it is of the fact that we have this stuff they didn't have such as the internet. But anyway I remember in tech class a few month ago that we were struggling with making things like the house or the air plane on this program called autoCad. We struggled because the instruction sheet he gave us didn't help us at all because what was on them hardly made sense to us but he didn't care in fact he did not even bother to help us with how to read or understand the instructions. During that time another teacher came in and started talking to him. the very first thing my tech teacher said was "Yep this is the new generation of kids these days isn't it?" and the other teacher replied "Yep this is." At that point I thought in my head "Why do they always got to make fun of our generation like that!" they were kids at one time like us and grew up to adults like the early people of our generation are becoming right now. I don't find it right to torture someone over something they can't change like what year they were born in I mean come on! By the way I'm 15 years old born January 7th 1999.

I feel bad for the 00s kids some times, taking all the blame and abuse for the kind of tech stuff that is around now even knowing it is not even their/our fault they/we were born with it. Also if you were born in 2003-2009 does that mean that you are not a real 00s kid then?

Being a kid in 00s are also awesome. And being a teenager in late 00s and 10s is much greaterthan 90s and early to mid 00s.

I was born at the beginning of 2001 and tbh I think it was one of the best times to be born because as a young kid I got to still have a childhood that wasn't raised in tech but now as a teenager get the benefits of technology like I try not to constantly be on my phone etc but like I have a little sister who was born in 2009 and i crying so much like she's six and has an iPad and can use my dads iPhone and stuff and is always on that kinda thing and I'm so glad that when I was 6 the closest thing to that I had was the original ds or ducking amazing tamagotchi that were the absolute shit! etc and I guess I sort of respect stuff more like I remember using videos and tapes and stuff before cd's became mainstream and the main reason I'm commenting on this post is because there was all these posts like 'only 90's kids will remember this...' And pretty much every single post I was like I rememeber that etc like tv shows and I stuff and stuff. I'm not claiming to be a 90's kid but kids born in the late 90s are really 2000 kids I think personally as they grew up then and '90's kids' are people who were 'kids' in the 90's so I don't know tbh just my opinion sorry but it depends which way you take it like if you're saying a 90's kid is someone alive in the '90's' then all means being born in 1999 makes you a 90's kid aha Please don't hate on me Its just annoying when people compare kids today (people born like 2005/6+) to early 2000 kids it's annoying like even I was younger I didn't have an iPhone and stuff and social media wasn't a major thing until I was a pre-teen/early teen and it's just annoying idk sorry this was a rant type thing that I doubt anyone will read but you know aha
