Sometimes you feel sorry for the bad guy in the book/movie/whatever. They try so hard, but no matter how good their plan or how strong their effort, they are always met with failure, amirite?

I dunno, I mean Big Brother in Orwell's 1984 turned out pretty well. Man, that book is depressing. :T

I hate badly written books that don't give the hero enough of a challenge. It makes me feel for the villain when they are the underdog
