It's hard to believe that somebody walking on the tracks when a train is coming can't hear it or even notice it coming.. Amirite?

Actually, it's quite common for someone walking on the tracks when there aren't trains around to get their feet caught... Then they're well aware but unable to do anything when the train shows up.

True, but im talking more about the people who have died as a cause of walking down the tracks with their ipod in full blast, who got killed cause they couldn't hear the train. But, when a train comes you can hear it from a while away, and you can feel the tracks shake too..

If the ipod is on full blast and the train isn't blowing the horn then I can kind of see it happening because they're distracted, but it's still there fault for listening to loud music or any at all while on the tracks.
