Even when she was younger and unmarried, though, people still didn't think of her that way- just as previous commentors pointed out, she's classy. She has obvious self-respect and I don't remember her ever singing anything as stupid and slutty as "Don'tcha". I'm only comparing her to PCD, because I don't think Miley Cyrus is really very "slutty"; she inappropriate for her age, and I disapprove of the example she sets(and SHE put herself in the position of setting examples, so none of that "why should she have to be a role model" bullshit) for young girls. Of course, with Wal-mart selling low-rise jeans and halter tops for pre-teens, young girls are pretty screwed anyway.

It's because Beyonce sings about love and not just sex, unlike most pop stars. And Miley Cyrus will just be forever hated no matter what she does. Everyone was just looking for a reason to call Cyrus a whore, and as soon as she released Can't Be Tamed, the world pounced on it. I can't wait for her to go down the same path as Britney Spears.

Beyonce could be naked, but she would never give the impression of being a slut. Why? Because she carries herself with dignity and self-respect. She is a good role model who teaches her fans to be independent, dignified and proud women. I may not have any interest in her music, but I appreciate and respect her for the image she upholds.
