+714 It's weird to think that there's no definitive end to your feild of vision. It's not like a TV, with sharp edges to the screen. At the same time, it doesn't fade to black at the edges either. It has no edges or end, but there's a still a limit to where you can see, amirite?

Absolute threshold?

I've thought about that before...

Why do you think about this?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why not? The key to making interesting posts is overthinking things.

Ok then.

There is a definitive end to your field of vision...you just don't normally try to perceive it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It ends, you just can't see it because.. Well your eyes aren't there. It's hard to explain. But yeah, i've thought about this as well.

which is why no first person view can reproduce that effect. i mean, when we nod, our eyes don't look up and down along with our heads right?

This is so interesting and true! I love your posts!

I would've never been able to explain that the way you just did.

I think that people's vision slowly fades to peripheral around the edges.
