+322 It is interesting how tenses can change the meaning of the sentence "Phineas and Ferb are awesome" means something different than "Phineas and Ferb is awesome", amirite?

Those phrases are the same tense.

"'Phineas and Ferb' is awesome" -> Present, referring to the show "Phineas and Ferb are awesome" -> Present, referring to the characters Fail.

*different number

this isn't right, if they were different tenses, it would be ARE awesoem and WERE awesome or WILL BE awesome, etc...

Haha. Both are present. You do mean number, right?
