I still had school but it's only because we missed 3 days last week because of flooding. I was pissed when I had to get up and go to school but I'm ok now cuz I'm finally back home XD

We don't get the day off partially because he didn't discover America and partially because when he did get there (by accident), he raped the women, enslaved the indigenous people on sugar plantations, and eventually killed them all off. Cool guy. Glad we have a day honoring him.
