+913 Winnie The Pooh was based on psychological problems, Winnie had an eating disorder, Pigglet had generalized anxiety disorder, Eeyore had major depression, and that Tigger had ADHD. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whoever said no to this obviously hasn't seen Winnie The Pooh

A dad wrote it for his son, who was just a little kid. He based it off a beat they met at the zoo. I don't think that the characters were meant to represent this.

And don't forget, Christopher Robin represents Schizophrenia.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most definitely.

Was it done on purpose or was it a coincidence?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When it was written, Psychology was a relatively new branch of Science. So, I think that it was done on purpose. & Rabbit has OCD.

You know Disney making adult jokes in little kid's shows! Especially Pixar movies!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@664422 (RachelMichiko): Kk. I'm not a huge fan of Disney movies lol

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And I hate how Nickelodeon tries to use the word "sexy".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nickelodeon is over done. Like if you watch icarly and stuff, things are like beyond crazy!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I watch ICarly to encourage myself to go do my homework. Seriously, I watch it for maybe thirty seconds, then realize that I would MUCH rather be doing my homework. They've completely slaughtered the concept of Random.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know! Especially the web show "we are gonna rain down raisins and then pla a trumpet while riding a bike and then spin around in a tootoo!" .... That is just stupid.....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And maybe it would just be a tad bit funnier if they had no background laughter. I mean, they add in laughter after every five seconds practically. Example(I don't know if this is a real quote): "'Sam, have you been drinking too much soup again?' *audience roars with laughter*".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It probably is a real quote. All though I do like Spencer, he is pretty funny. Without him the show would much worse!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

and Carly acts as if she is bursting to laugh. -___- just pisses me off.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

agreed!

http://www.amirite.net/393857 You must read this

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahah, clever. I don't see why people downed it so much. It's a pretty accurate summary of the average ICarly episode

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know! But you know some people on here... -.-

by Anonymous 13 years ago

and Rabbit is OCD!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It makes so much sense now....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Haha nice someone else who goes to verydemotivational ;D anyway, this is the chain. Pooh has an eating disorder, Piglet has generalized anxiety disorder, Eeyore has depression, Rabbit is OCD, Tigger has ADHD, and Christopher has Schizophrenia.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is Christopher Robin meant to represent Schizophrenia? I haven't seen the show is a few years, and I don't really remember his character.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He interacts with stuffed animals (the main characters).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hah, that's awesomely disturbing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i still wish i knew what the fuck a pooh was

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just read that book a few months ago! How did I not see this? Anyway, for my health class, we have to read a book and connect it to health, and now I'm thinking that a re-reading may be in order, considering we just learned about mental disorders.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

they're not based off mental disorders.. they are just all characters. and Christopher Robin meant to represent Schizophrenia? maybe he's just playing with toys like any normal child would. We all had stuffed animals when we were young, and we all talked to them and thought they were our friends. the other characters? pooh likes eating a lot honey, doesn't mean he has an eating disorder. piglet just little and scared. eyore.. maybe hes depressed, but i'm sure that's not what the author was trying to show children. tigger, hes just hyper and excited.everybody is always trying to make children stories into crazy nonsense. Like "there are secret words and pictures on disney movies" no there isn't. its just people trying to make good things bad. not everything is ment to be sexual and scary.
