+375 It's a sad but unfortunate truth that just because two people truly love and care about each other, it doesn't always mean they're good for each other, amirite?

"sad but unfortunate"? That doesn't make sense "sad" and "unfortunate" practically means the same. You could have said "It's sad but true" or "It's a sad and unfortunate".

sad and unfortunate don't mean the same thing at all, not even slightly

Ugh, you know what I mean, stop being such an asshole. If you say something negative and then say "but" you're not supposed to say something negative after the but. You CAN'T say something like: "This movie is bad but terrible." It makes no fucking sense.

Yeah, I worded it poorly, my bad. I meant it like "sad but unfortunately true". I still messed up on the wording, though. Eh, no biggie.

Me and my ex were together for four years but it wasn't working as a relationship. We still care about each other alot and are best friends :)
