+544 Sometimes, your parents bring up stuff at the weirdest times. "Night, dad, love you!" "You should be practicing driving!" Uh, what? amirite?

Oh my God, my dad does that so much! He's also a fan of talking to me about whatever history book he's reading anytime we're in a car going to somewhere that's over 15 minutes away.

I hate it when my dad does that... I take care of myself and he keeps bringing up stuff, I'm putting off. It's like, "Dad, don't worry about it, I got here fine on my own, you don't need to keep bringing up things I don't want to think about"

Hahaha. So true. When I was about 11ish or so, I went up to my parents' room to say goodnight and my mom was all like, "Do you have the keyboard all memorized?" I was like, "Um... yeah?" Then she asked me, no joke, to go over every key. So, I had to talk forever trying to explain a keyboard without having one in front of me. I was all: "The Home Row is A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, and a semi-colon. Then above it is a Q and W...." It was so ridiculous. Hahha. Parents. Goodness.

My mother used to ambush me on my way past her room and ask me to recite the Spanish days of the week.

I was at work one time when my mom decided to call me and say, "You don't need to be sleeping with girls until you're married." "Mom! I am not going to talk about this right now!"

my dad does this sooooo often! i mean you're going to go to bed to get sleep, not to get asked 20 questions.

My dad asks me if I've finished my homework randomly. Normally around three hours before I normally start my homework.
