+488 Sometimes its interesting to ask ourselves questions about fairy tales, 'did the princess in sleeping beauty have her period while she was asleep?', 'what if in Cinderella's town there had been another girl had the same shoe size?', 'what if snow white had found a worm in the apple she was about to bite?', amirite?

I believe the word you were looking for was "pointless" or perhaps "counterproductive", not interesting. The reason why is- there's no answers except what you make up.

just because something is "pointless" doesn't mean its not interesting.

How is it counter productive? I know it's not exactly "productive" in the traditional sense of the word, but it's not hindering anyone's progress or anything. Not to mention, it might cause them to write an interesting story based on whatever idea they come up with, which would be relatively productive, even if kinda pointless. :)

'what if the talking frog just was a horny talking frog', 'what if Beauty wasn't into bestiality', 'what if Peter Pan just was a really smart child molester'

Although I always was taught that the Cinderella's shoe shrunk and grew to make sure that no one else fit.

If they write a story, then that's productive, but what the post was referring to was wondering about questions that there are literally no answers to. I don't think that's interesting.
