+279 Oh, I believe in global warming. There's no way to deny it. What I DON'T believe in is the fact that mankind is causing every rise in temperature; that, my dear friend, is utter bull, amirite?

We're not the cause, we're just helping make it worse. AND IT WOULDN'T KILL YOU TO SAVE A LITTLE FUCKING ENERGY...

doesn't matter either way the Earth is running out of contaminates for us to mine and spew into the air, we have to stop one way or another. Also, we aren't the sole cause but we are the biggest cause making a fairly minor natural process much worse.

World temperatures have fluctuated since the creation of the planet. But mankind hasn't taking this into account and it could have devastating effects. Humans emit 27 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, there are natural trends but what we've caused is way beyond the scope of those natural fluctuations

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We might not be the sole cause of global warming, but we sure as hell aren't helping.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha... utter bull. See that's funny because cows have utters, and a bull is just a boy cow... anyways...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Udder. Cows have udders.

yeah, I wasn't quite sure if it was with T or D, and I was too lazy to google it. Thanks for the info though!

See, They say Global Warming is caused by rises in carbon dioxide, and that causes the temperature to rise, but unfortunately for Al Gore, Temperature rose AND THEN the carbon dioxide rose, and this is why: When temperature rises it releases carbon dioxide that is trapped in the ocean. Simple science, my friend.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

then tell me how did the temperature rise? the earth doesn't just decide when it wants to raise its temperature. we started to notice the earth was warming up a bit in what, the 1950's at earliest? Excess carbon dioxide being put in the air started with the Industrial revolution, and that started in the 1790's or sometime around that period. Thats 160 between the Industrial revolution and when we noticed the world was warming up. so carbon dioxide emissions were happening well before global warming actually began

Actually, global warming was discovered during a cooling cycle. The temperatures were not higher, but higher than science says they should be.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It is a natural cycle, climate change has happened before, and to a much more severe degree than this. Plus the pattern of solar flares follows the pattern of global warming exactly, in fact, 2012 will be when the solar flares reach their peak, and then they will steadily decline. You can't believe everything you hear from your professors, or from me, try being a free thinker and doing research, you'll find that the inconsistencies in Al Gore's film are alarming. But don't take my word for it.

I would say cows aren't helping either, except for the fact humans were the ones to breed cows into being the animals they are today. The cows of today are Co2 factories with their backend exausht.

I love how everyone is telling everyone else to save energy...on their computers.
