Free food+loving parents=I live at home till I'm married.

I used to be that way, but as I got older and took a nice hard look at the world around me, I realized I'm lucky to have parents who didn't kick me out the second I turned eighteen. Living on my own will be fantastic when it happens, but until I'm ready to actually take that step, I'm fine with my parents. I think I'm probably going to be living with them for at least two to six more years - which I'm fine with. Once I can afford to live on my own, though - once I graduate college, get a good job, get a sugar daddy or whatever path I wind up taking - I'll move out and start acting like a semi-adult. But until then, my parents are pretty awesome, so why mess with a good thing?

Ugh, I dread leaving. That means I've officially grown up, and quite frankly, I don't want to do that.

This. I know exactly what you mean. :( I can live with growing up, don't get me wrong. It has its advantages, but those pros don't outweigh the cons for me. I don't think anything could ever make me //excited// about growing up, but at least it's not the end of the world for me. :P

I thought I was ready. But now that I moved and am at university, I want nothing more than to go back. It's so expensive being on your own! :/

It is. I posted this two years ago before I was in college as well. It's not as great as I'd hoped.

Moved out at sixteen. It was a hard path, but now at 19 years old, it was one of the best choices I ever made.
