I'm not sleeping with anyone until I'm married, if it's that big a deal to him, I wouldn't want to marry him. If he insisted, I'd make him shave before I did, and then I'd get said rash again, or possibly cut myself as I do when shaving my legs because, again, I suck and shaving and don't care enough to study how to do it. How attractive. Honestly, I don't get why it would be a big deal in the first place.

It's not a big deal...it's just a preference. No one is going to break up with you just because you won't shave or trim. Again, give it 5 years and you will probably be a lot more interested in and better at maintaining the hair on your body.
