There are times when you're completely calm and confident before something you have to do (ex. give a speech, an exam etc.) but once it comes time to do it you're nerves jump into a strangers car and go for a joy ride, amirite?

I read this as "You're completely calm and confident before something you have to do, but when it comes time to do something like jump into a stranger's car, your nerves take a joyride" XD
