My parents call me Ryan, but then my friends call me Ryan. Some people pronounce it like Ryan, which is just weird. All three ways make me mad though, because my names not Ryan.

My name is Avery.. everyone knows how to pronounce that. But some people still say like, Av-ry as if the "e" doesn't exist. But what really pisses me off, is I like my name two syllables, Ayv-ree. Yet some people insist on calling me Ayv-ER-ee and it makes me want to shoot a horse

I feel the same way you do. My name is Ashley and some people spell it wrong like Ashely and a lot of people say it like that too. Like they make it three syllables. I hate it. It's Ash-ley. not hard.

exactly. my name is Anne. People always write it as Ann, and if that weren't bad enough, some people read my name as Annie. like WTF, since when do people read out the letter E at the end of a word? Should it be pronounced Peopley, somey, namey, sincey?? IT MAKES NO SENSE.

My spanish teacher decided that my name is pronounced Row-been. And then a doctor once kept calling my Ruh-bane (although him I can't really blame because he had a strong accent). I mean, seriously, the name 'Robyn' is FIVE letters, it's not that hard.
