I knew I was a lesbian in sixth grade when I had a huge crush on this girl in my class. I don't see how people don't figure it out until they're married with children.

A lot of people say they're one sexuality, just because. I had a friend who claimed she was bi-sexual even though I knew she wasn't. She just wanted to be associated as a bi-sexual, so that's what she told everyone.

It bothers me when people say it just to have the attention, or an excuse to sleep around. It puts a negative light on the people who truly are bisexual.

I grew up in a house where I didn't learn what homosexuality was until Middle School. Even then I thought I was straight because I didn't learn that "gay's okay" until closer to High School, when I came out as queer.

More than half the kids who said they were gay or bi we're either "going through a phase" or just being attention whores. If a kid is genuinely gay at a young age, good for them

Some people seem to think that if you believe you're gay at age 12, you must be confused because you aren't experienced enough and haven't even tried kissing someone of the opposite sex, etc. However if you're a guy with a crush on a girl at 12, this is somehow acceptable. Next time some homophobic dickhead asks you if you've 'ever even kissed a girl,' ask them if they've sucked a dick. "No? Then how do you know you don't like it?"
