I took that too literally the first time I read it, but I definitely agree.

I've switched apartments once a year for the past 3 years and I can safely say there are never enough boxes.

Wow, I've never moved before, but by the looks of all the stuff in my house, I'm sure there would never be enough boxes in Pennsylvania to hold it all. I can only imagine what a hassle it is for you to move so often.

It kinda makes me just want to take everything I really need, put it in two or three suit cases, and whatever doesn't fit I get rid of.

That sounds like a good idea! But then you would realize that you need the things you thought you didn't need more than you actually thought you would need them, if that makes sense haha.

Well honestly I can't think of anything I need to live except my clothes (and obviously food and shelter). Everything else I own is just for my own entertainment... like my guitars, drums, computers, tv, etc. I don't really need all of it. I've also heard that if you don't use it at least once a month then you probably don't need it. It would be interesting to someday store my material possessions in a room, lock it up, and forget I ever had them. Maybe someday I could try it and if I went so long without them, sell them. If not, just take them out of the room I put them in.

That would be a cool idea, and that's a good rule to go by, the once a month thing. I'm pretty sure I would agree with you, but I would need my iPod and my guitar. They're my greatest forms of entertainment!
