Not entirely true, though there are a lot of cookie-cutter manga and anime,like Zoids and DICE or Pokemon and Monster Rancher

Uh, no. Dude, you're stepping a crap-load of toes. That's stereotyping. You're probably just one of those close-minded people that see one specific style and judge from that. Well, you know what? Screw you. It's not just a Japanese 'cartoon', it's a story with morals and different views on the world. Alot of anime/manga have messages that have influenced who I am. Do some research and call an ambulance, 'cause I don't know this from past experience, but it's pretty hard to get you're head out of your arse on your own.

I have nothing against anime, but I DO hate people that are over-obsessed with it. Like those girls who learn Japanese just because they like anime. And try to act like their favorite anime character. I mean, seriously, Japan's a whole lot cooler than just ANIME.
