+941 It takes a strong person not to cry, a stronger person to cry, and the strongest person to say why they're crying. amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Is that original, cause it's very good

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I got it from a friend.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well still that's a really good one

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so it's stronger to cry? cause u said it takes a strong man to cry and a stronger man to not cry o_O...so in the end they're always strong?....just trying to figure it out

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No the OP said it takes a strong person to cry and an even stronger person to cry

by Anonymous 13 years ago

strong person NOT to cry, stronger to cry. forgot the not~

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh dang it! Thanks!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you just repeated the post -__- I'm asking is the op saying that they are always strong but on different levels?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yah I know I am sorry! I meant to say that it takes a strong person to not cry and an even stronger person to cry! Sorry!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you just repeated yourself again. So that would mean there's no way not to be strong, so the post doesn't mean much at all, if you think about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Duuude think about it... the first part is saying it takes a strong man to HOLD a cry in. It doesn't actually say it there, but who wrote it is ASSUMING you would know that. Lol

by Anonymous 12 years ago

.___. it's been so long I don't even remember writing this lol. and I got brainfucked from reading all that^^^^^

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually it takes a lot of strength not to cry. It's exausting. Cry would be relieving because you can let it all out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But what OP meant was probably that it takes a strong person to cry cause they'd deal with some shit from other people telling them to suck it up, etc.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

*crying

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not if you do it alone. Holding it in hurts a lot. Your stronger if you hold it in than if you let it out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It takes more than strength to explain why you're crying. It takes skill cuz you're blubbering and sobbing and probably talking to the person who made you cry in the first place

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's not true in most cultures... the strongest people never cry.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And it takes an attention whore to cry on purpose.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

An attention whore who's a good actor.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What would a weak person do?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It takes a super strong person to lift a car over they're head.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I would vote your comment up...except you used the wrong "their".

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Weird, I am usually very good about that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree in the sense you are a stronger person if you cry. Because you cry, let it out, and you're over it way faster than the person who held it in. They let that turmoil burn up inside of them until one day they burst like a firecracker which can make them look like an idiot. And yeah, it's extremely hard to explain why you're crying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And it takes an even stronger person to laugh at that person for crying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, it takes a mean person to do that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That just takes a jerk to do that :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well there was a time when something was really getting me down. I didn't want to express my feelings to anyone so I held it in. I didn't want say anything, and that took a lot. But then something happened and I just had to cry. And that was even harder then holding it in, because it meant that the people I love would see be break in, and I would have to accept that something wasn't right. And right there, even harder then that was having to tell my loved ones why I was crying. That was the hardest thing to do. I didn't want to seem needy, or be judged. So this post makes complete sense to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i guess im strongest....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Today, my dog is going to die. And all day, the hardest thing to do was to tell my mom the reasons I was crying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I get what this post is saying, but sometimes the strongest person is the one holding back their tears so they can comfort the crying people around them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Still, they say that misery loves company.
