+360 What was the thought process behind the car horn? "I love driving, but I want to be able to show my displeasure in other drivers decisions. How about we make it so if you punch the center of the steering wheel it makes a noise that sounds like a loud, out of tune trumpet", amirite?

Cars have horns so you can warn other drivers that they are about to hit you if, say, they're asleep at the wheel, or they just plain don't see you.

Then let's make it a deep threatening voice saying "Lookout dumbass".

That would be awesome. But horns are easier to hear. And more easily identifiable. A deep voice saying "Look out dumbass" could easily be confused for a passenger, or the radio, y'know what I mean?

hahahahah just imagine in traffic. Its rush hour and a whole team of cars start shouting lookout dumbass to eachother.

They're for preventing accident. I bet you're one of those idiots that sits outside a friends house honking for them to come out.

Seeing as I'm 14, that really isn't an issue for me.

I feel sorry for your generation. Get off the internet and go outside. Experience the real world. Become a person.
