Its either comf'table or comfortable. Its a dialect choice. With the strong glockenstop (cutting the "for" to f') is from Middle English. I am from the North of England and pronounce it in full as com-for-table, just as its written. Actually there is no right or wrong way. Comf'table is most common thats all.
