Naw, it's just used to talk to your friends, meet up, get in touch, let people know what's happening in your life, and what you're up to. If you're not using it for these reasons, you're doing it horribly wrong.

I don't want my friends to know what I'm doing all the time, which is what it seems like people use it for. If someone really wants to know all that, that does seem creepy to me.
