The men and women who serve for us in America are amazing and brave, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
If anyone says no to this, they should really get off this site.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No. I'm not American and the OP thinks only Americans are on the internet so if I could I'd no way this 9,001 times.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You're a little 4chan bitch, go troll somewhere else. Just because you live in some other country, it doesn't mean you can't have a little respect. Your birth certificate is an apology from the condom factory. You are just that low and useless, go baww yourself to sleep.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Haha, dude, if there were posts like this, exactly the same text, but of Canada, there sure as hell would be Americans saying that. Also, I dislike 4chan. So go back to eating burgers, French fries and coke, dude. Have a nice day.
by Anonymous13 years ago
:) they sure are amazing! I don't have as much courage as them, I'd be scared. I am thankfull for all who serve for the USA
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why only America? The rest of the world has soldiers too.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Uhh... wait, let me get this right, you expected an American to be intelligent?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You'd have to be a total douche bag to No way this
by Anonymous13 years ago
No, I'm just utterly appalled how absolutely fine it is that this post distinguishes only American soldiers. I hate how conceited Americans can be, and while it is Veterans Day in the USA, it is still no excuse to just call American soldiers brave and good. It was completely unneeded to even have the word "American" in this post.
by Anonymous13 years ago
We never said other soldiers aren't brave, because they are. We're just happy for the family members that have returned to us, and are mourning the ones who haven't. We wouldn't even be a country if it wasn't for their bravery and we're celebrating them. I'm sorry that we're giving them respect for dying for the rest of us. And I'm sick and tired of people saying how horrible America is. We didn't do anything wrong! Do you know how much in debt we are for helping other countries??? We're constantly lending millions of dollars that we don't have TO HELP YOU! So just shut up already!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not only are you obnoxious, but ignorant too. I said nothing bad about Americans, and still am, even though it is hard now seeing as your comment just made me want to completely bash all American kids in the universe and call them out on their stupidity.
Soldiers are brave. On Veterans Day, you could have just said that and only that, and people would understand and agree. There is nothing special about American soldiers, they are just like any other soldiers of different countries.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ok I'm sorry. I wasn't meaning to be rude, I'm just in a bad mood and am tired of people bashing on Americans. I watched a WWII movie today and seeing all of those violent deaths put me in a really bad mood and I've felt really depressed since. I am not stupid, I'm actually in the top 2% in a top school in my state with 800 kids per grade, so I don't appreciate you "calling us out on our stupidity" I agree, we have som dumbasses in America, and I hate putting up with them, which is why I like being in honors classes. I fully respect all other soldiers for putting their lives on the line for their contries, but this post was for Veteran's day so I think it's fine that it says Americans. I'm sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean to start any trouble, as I said I'm not feeling too great today
by Anonymous13 years ago
You weren't being rude. He's just mad.
by Anonymous13 years ago
thank you :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
I understand, and I realize that speaking about soldiers that defend YOUR family and YOUR friends makes them seem more special, but all they are is just fighters. Every country has them, and they are all brave to be doing what they do. This post says nothing about Veterans Day, just about American soldiers. But simply saying "American children are cute" is not alright either, because kids are all kids, and living in a separate country does not make them any different. "Children are cute" is fine, and true, and while saying "American children are cute" is true as well, it sounds as if it is saying "Only American children are cute" and I'm sick of people saying things like that. I'm sure "Soldiers serving in the army are brave and amazing" would have the absolute same meaning to this post, so it would be best to just get rid of the specific country they mention in the post.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It was posted by HappyVeteransDay(: so I assume it was meant for Veteran's Day
by Anonymous13 years ago
Of course it was, I saw, I'm just saying even if it IS for Veterans Day(especially if it is Veterans Day) it isn't needed to specify which country you're talking about, for all soldiers are brave.

What's a soldier
by Anonymous13 years ago
Let's also not forget the dogs and other animals who serve!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I thank american soldiers because i live in the u.s and they are helping to protect me. Im joining the military in the next few months, can't wait!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Thank you for risking your life to protect us <3 in a few months :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
Which branch? And be careful with MEPS, they're sneaky little bastards that try to DQ for pretty much everything. I've heard of one guy getting DQ cause he was taking those kids vitamin things, no bs
by Anonymous13 years ago
Air Force. yes im careful with this whole process. I cant wait though. will be a challenge, yet very rewarding!!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ah, the USAF is always a good option. I'm actually considering it, but idk. But anyway, MEPS really is a vicious demon; it can make or break your enlistment. Be extremely careful, plan ahead.
by Anonymous13 years ago
by planning ahead you mean????
by Anonymous13 years ago
As in get all the waivers and crap taken care of. Although the chance of getting one waiver is slim, it's better to take care of them before MEPS than during.
by Anonymous13 years ago
alright gotcha. The Only thing im worried about is that ive broken my wrist before...a few years ago. The Recruiter told me to be honest but also don't disqualify yourself for something so minor.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I have a similar problem, I fractured an ankle several years ago. As long as it doesn't cause a problem now it's fine, but MEPS is bloody paranoid these days. My recruiter told me to not say anything, but idk...I reckon it's best to clear it up with your normal doctor first.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Personally I think we owe them more than a post :|
by Anonymous13 years ago
Of course he put American. He is American most other soldiers and aside from our few allies nobody gives a rats ass and most would be happy if our nation went under so other soldiers can fuck off besides our allies
by Anonymous13 years ago
The people who NW'd this are probably Taliban fighters (LIGHTEN UP ITS A JOKE)
My dad is a USMC vet and his dad is a WWII vet. I respect and admire all veterans.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Everyone... This was just a post to thank American soldiers for what they have done for us. NONETHELESS we still appreciate all soldiers and their bravery. I myself, especially appreciate everyone not spreading hatred by mouth, text, or anything else.
by Anonymous13 years ago
They also have remebrance day in Canada too, you know. It's not just Americans. . . and it's not just the US and Canada, all soldiers are brave.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I NW'd this because other countries have soldiers and I am not in America so for me it is not "us in America". I still do agree that what they are doing is brave, but it's not just American soldiers that are brave.
by Anonymous13 years ago
well....... duh. Did you really have to post this? I mean, it's true, yes, but it's obvious. Were you just so desperate to get something posted that you posted this?
by Anonymous13 years ago
thank you soldiers form all countries, you are brave and courageous people who deserve to be honored for serving their countries. But 27 people are idiots for saying no way to this post just because it says "american". it was an honest mistake.
by Anonymous13 years ago
OP put "us in America" to show his/her gratitude from an American citizen to any American veteran. Americans aren't so stupid as to believe that only US veterans are brave and worthy of thanks.
Stop complaining just because you're from another country and feel left out.
by Anonymous13 years ago
its true but thats not what this site is for
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree. It's so brave to use the most powerful military in the world to intimidate and bully lesser powers. Go America!
